The percentage of iPad and iPhone users with an iOS version 9 is leading the way with 85% users whereas on the other hand Android 5.0 and Android 5.1 Lollipop accounts for a meager 17% handsets. Samsung has started incorporating Android 6.0 in Galaxy S6 and S6Edge. HTC’s One M9 handset with Android 6.0.L.G’s G4 and G3 are also in the lineup. Sony has also declared to update its Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact to Android 6.0.

The exact date is yet to be mentioned when S6 and S6 Edge handsets from Samsung will start using Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but it should be anytime soon. It is thus expected that the number of handsets using Android 6.0 will see a significant rise in the near future.
