Hampton by Hilton forays into the Chinese Market

Hilton Worldwide, a pioneer in the hospitality industry opens it first flagship hotel in China. This hotel is situated in the Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, in China. The city of Guangzhou in South Central China is also known as Canton and is the third largest Chinese city after Shanghai and Beijing. The Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town is situated at the center of the Zhujiang business district and provides easy access to the city’s most prominent shopping and entertainment venues.

Hilton Worldwide’s association with the Plateno group will provide the necessary leverage to the Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town by focusing on customer’s needs. According to Phil Cordell of Hilton Worldwide, this deal will help Hampton to make a breakthrough in the Chinese market.

Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town provides a multi-functional lobby helping guests to combine work with pleasure. The hotel’s opening was marked by the introduction of Hampton’s Mascot in China, the panda or “Little Hampton” which embodies the core values of the brand namely “friendly, authentic, caring and thoughtful”.
