Google unveils its first Pixel smartphone

Google unveils two new phones to compete with rivals Apple and Samsung. The two new phones Pixel and Pixel XL was launched at an event in San Francisco yesterday. The Pixel and Pixel XL are the first phones to bear Google’s logo. The tagline to denote the phone is “Phone by Google”.

Google, the developer of the Android operating Systems will directly take on Samsung as the top maker of Android phones. The phones with top class hardware and artificial intelligence driven software will give it an edge over other companies in this domain.

The Google phones come with a built –in Google Assistant and an improved camera software. Google Assistant allows users to leverage the full power of Google’s search result along with the advanced capabilities of Google Now. The phones will come with a pre –installed version of Google Photos that will offer unlimited free storage of photos and videos. The phones can be easily available for $649.
