Sword Group reports its first quarter growth

The Luxembourg-based information technology integrator, Sword Group, announced its first quarter 2016 revenue growth of 20.4% at constant exchange rate. The revenue of the company grew to 39.8 million Euros. The rise in the revenue can be attributed to the company’s Software and Service division which recorded a growth of 18% and 21.4% respectively.

Sword Group’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 22.4% and is at € 6 million. This consists of sales which are recorded at 15.1%. The company also proposes to give a dividend of 1.2euro.

The IT service sector has a positive outlook as the Sword Group has outperformed its forecasted growth by 5.4 percent. The group further reiterates its yearly target (for 2016) of achieving 15% organic growth and an EBDITA margin of 15%.
