The leading technology firms in U.S. now has warned President Donald Trump that his latest immigration ban will directly affect the U.S. economy by making it difficult for businesses to attract skilled overseas workers.

As the overall market for highly skilled workers became highly competitive, any alterations to immigration rules may affect overseas recruitment.

The whole controversy started when President Trump took the decision to ban immigration from seven countries i.e. Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

Leading organizations such as Google, Apple, Facebook, and Microsoft are among the many companies that have challenged the immigration ban in the court.

Each year about 85,000 visas are available, and last year the U.S. received 230,000 such visa petitions.

Trump administration is believed to change the entire H-1B visa system to something that provides visas to the most deserving candidates. The president may also distribute H-1B visas on the basis of one’s skills, salary and other criteria.
