New Features Announced for Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge, the default web browser for Windows 10 is all set to get new features.  This was announced by Microsoft in recent blog post. The features include-Tab Management Feature: To help users who have multiple tabs open at the same time, a tab management feature has been introduced to enable visual thumbnails of all open tabs.  Support WebVR:  A small but growing number of companies have started providing virtual reality experiences.  Edge has been upgraded to support Web Virtual Reality. Reading of Books: Will allow for purchase e-books directly from the Windows Store and read them in Microsoft Edge.

The browser now has specific tools to improve the reading experience including ability to customize and create personalised experience with custom font sizes, layouts, themes, navigation control, Cortana integration and more. Online Shipping Simpler: Payment Request API for Microsoft Edge, which will work with Microsoft Wallet on Windows 10 PCs.  Users will be able to checkout quickly using their payment information stored securely in Microsoft Wallet. Continued expansion of extension platform:  Extension developers would now have access to 30% more APIs and is expected to contribute to the Microsoft Edge Ecosystem.
