Microsoft rolls out Windows 10 Anniversary update for PCs

Microsoft has started rolling out it’s Windows 10 Anniversary update to PCs with Windows 10 operating system across the world starting with new machines. The update will be rolled out in phases. The only deterring factor is that the update is not for Windows phones. Users of Windows 10 mobile phones will have to wait for this update.

Old users of PC can also get the update just by going to their Settings then click on Update & Security. The Windows Update menu will appear and then click on Check for Updates. The Anniversary Update will appear as a Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607.The downloaded has to be installed thereafter. Microsoft users who are not devising to download it immediately, the AU download can start of anytime, automatically.

According to a Microsoft executive, the update for Mobile will be made available in a few weeks’ time. He, however, failed to mention a specific date for the rolling out of the update for Mobile phones.
