Kindred HealthCare acquires In-Home Health Care Operations

Kindred HealthCare Inc entered into an allegiance with the Arkansas Department of Health to take over the entire process of in-home health care operations under it. This deal includes the license to provide home health, personal care services, hospice across the state of Arkansas. The deal was fixed at $39 million after Kindred won the bid. The entire deal will close by the end of this year.

This alliance will augment Kindred’s services to seventy of the seventy-five counties in Arkansas. Kindred will retain all the current employees and serve all present clients upon consent. According to the CEO and President of Kindred Healthcare mentioned that this deal will give a tremendous boost to Kindred’s operation in the entire state of Arkansas.
