HP assured that it undoubtedly return to the high-end gaming PC market with a bang! With fully loaded Omen PCs it has.
The funky looking Omen X desktop and Omen 17 laptop are equipped with the latest CPUs and GPUs for the best gaming and virtual reality experiences. These are among HP’s most high priced PCs outside of the professional Z workstations.
The Omen X is cube shaped, with two stands holding the body upright. The desktop combines air and liquid cooling to dissipate heat, and the unique framework design creates a great ventilation technique.
The desktop has the amazing features typically found in gaming rigs. It can be configured with Intel’s latest Core i5 or i7-6700K CPU, and up to two Nvidia GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon R9 Fury X GPUs, which happen to be among the list of fastest existing. The PC can also be configured with AMD’s most up-to-date Radeon RX 480 based on the Polaris architectural design.
The Omen X also includes multiple storage slots for hard drives and SSD storage. Other specs comprise of DDR4 memory, two USB type-C ports, eight USB 3.0 ports, a 3-in-1 media card reader, three Display Port ports, an HDMI slot, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and a gigabit Ethernet slot.
The desktop will be available via HP’s website and through U.S. retailers.
