Google envisages on taking its mobile page program to the Asia –Pacific region. This strategy will help Google reach up to one billion people in the Asian markets. The Chinese search engines Baidu and Sogou will also be joining AMP as mentioned by Google in a recent announcement on the first day of the Google’s AMP conference in New York. This will open the doors for almost 90% of the Chinese search market.
Much social networking sites like the Pinterest has also been using this technology for some time now and has about one billion pages. AMP’s key strength is its speed as more users are directly correlated to faster mobile pages. Many other organizations in the Asia- Pacific region like Snapdeal – an e-commerce website has also been using AMP to give a push to their daily orders. EBay has also adopted AMP and became one of the first companies to be launched on AMP.
