Google Revamps its Cloud Machine Learning

As the cloud service providers race amongst themselves to enhance their machine learning capacities, Google unveils a few enhancements to its already existing cloud based machine learning facilities. The company also envisages on cutting the price on its Cloud Vision API and is thinking about unveiling a updated version of its translation API.

Google is also offering GPUs in its cloud both through the company’s managed services and its infrastructure-as-a-service product. These are important steps by Google as it plans to stay ahead of its competitors like Microsoft, Amazon and IBM. Google also envisages on drawing the attention of more enterprises to its cloud based platform. To add an icing to the cake Google’s Cloud Natural Language API, which is used to parse sentences written by humans, is now generally available.
