March 23rd witnessed the Brazilian Congress passing a bill that envisages on allowing companies to outsource jobs. The bill was approved after a long and heated discussion that lasted more than nine months. According to the President of Brazil, Michel Temer, this bill will help in the creation of new jobs and will also be an effective tool to pull Brazil out of one of its worst recession.
Brazilian labor laws ignore the changing working conditions in the present working scenario where work is mostly done on the internet. This increases the labor costs and which is one of the reasons that Brazilian companies are not able to compete globally.
However, this bill is criticized by the leftists. Laercio Oliveira, who is a member of the Social Democratic Party applauded this bill and will create new employment opportunities and also will generate new jobs.
