Reports are suggesting that one of Apple’s major suppliers is getting ready for the trial production of Microsoft’s much-anticipated Surface phone. A China-based daily claim that Pegatron which is based in Taiwan will start their trial production of Microsoft’s Surface smartphones very soon as Microsoft is said to launch their all new Surface Phone in early 2017.

Unfortunately, the specifics of the trial production of the surface phones are not disclosed according to the report but for those who are unaware, Taiwan’s Pegatron is an Apple original design manufacturer (ODM).

Microsoft’s Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella had assured their continued presence the mobile world in a recent interview where he stated that “We will continue to be in the phone market not as defined by today’s market leaders, but by what it is that we can uniquely do in what is the most ultimate mobile device.”

Some reports have also suggested that the delay in the launch of the Microsoft Surface Phones has been caused due to their developments in Windows 10 Mobile OS.
