At Infosys he was responsible for setting up the first office in the Midwest focused on manufacturing companies and developed the market from scratch. The significant traction and deals he spearheaded with several fortune 500 companies was the reason for the formation of the Automotive and Aerospace vertical. He was directly responsible for landing the first deals and for incubating and making engineering services a true horizontal across multiple verticals. He pioneered and positioned global product development as a strategic competitive advantage to several large corporations. It is today a 500m practice. At Mahindra Satyam and Birlasoft he headed significant sized teams within manufacturing and was responsible for all large accounts and new business development. He brought in best practices and ensured growth across geographies worldwide while being responsible for developing domain competency in specific subverticals.
