Snowflake Computing partners with Looker, the business intelligence platform for data - driven companies

Data warehousing company Snowflake Computing joins hands with a business intelligence firm Looker to form a flexible environment for users. The new platform formed by this conjecture allows users to use the business intelligence tools of Looker with the data warehousing repositories of Snowflake Computing which integrates data from one or more disparate sources. Initially users of Looker’s intelligence platform would spend more time on managing data infrastructure rather than focusing on getting insights from their data.

This partnership would help them effectively use the cloud, analyze both structured and semi – structured data and eliminate the complexities of using conventional solutions to integrate the data. On the other hand, the business intelligence platform of Looker would help business teams of Snowflake Computing find answers to their data questions while integrating data from various sources in a single platform.

As rightly pointed out by the chief technology officer, JP Lester at ‘The Orchard’,  a music and film distribution company about the venture that the mix of Snowflake and Looker will give their business users a powerful device to explore varied data set quickly and with ease.
