Chinese Retailer makes Foray into the Czech Market

Linemart, a Chinese e-commerce company entered into an agreement with Prologis, Inc, a pioneer in industrial real estate to hire a place for opening its first distribution space in the Czech Republic . A rent agreement was signed between the two for an 18,166 square metres of land for opening a warehouse space at Prologis Park Prague-Airport.
The Shenzen Sailvan Network of China is spread across the globe with branches in the Los Angeles in USA and Hamburg in Germany. It also administers and looks into the functionality of stores like CNDirect and Dress Link and caters to its clients across Europe.
According to the Managing Director of Linemart, Tao Lin, this alliance with Prologis will enhance their position in Europe and also help them to bolster into the markets of Germany. The location of the distribution space in the vicinity of the Václav Havel Airport Prague is also an added advantage. It is also connected to the global traffic and trade route via the D5 highway.
