As technology rules the day, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Apple’s CEO Tim Cook were shortlisted to be the potential Vice President candidates for Hillary Clinton who is representing the democrats. WikiLeaks published this piece of information on Tuesday. The names of these two tech giants were mentioned along with the names of 37 other prospective people shortlisted for the post of VP. The email comprising of the names was sent by John Podesta, the campaign chairman.
Many business leaders were shortlisted. The CEO of General Motors, CEO of Xerox, Coca –Cola CEO and even the CEO of Starbucks Howard Schultz whose name featured in the list. Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia and rival Senator Bernie Sanders were also on the list. Cook had even held a fund raiser for Clinton in August.
