Nashville, Tennessee-headquartered customer experience management & business process outsourcing firm Sitel will be moving to the enormous Shipbuilding at Derriford, Plymouth according to the recent reports. This move will benefit up to 700 working professionals living there. This multi-million-pound deal was done between a leading city property developer Burrington Estates and Sitel.
This 10-year deal between the companies took more than a year to finalise and now it is being billed by the UK Government. This cross-border trade agreement is thought to be Plymouth’s biggest inward investment in more than a decade.
Mark Edworthy, co-founder of Burrington Estates, said: “When we bought The Ship we renamed it The Spirit of Enterprise as it was always our intention to return this building to its former glory as a bustling and thriving place to do business.
“Confirmation of the 10-year deal with Sitel is fantastic news for the region and we are proud to have been able to help facilitate such huge inward investment in the city.”
“There is still some space available so businesses wishing to be part of this exciting project need to act quickly,” he said.
