The Chicago-based Beer Company; MillerCoors is all set to unveil the third flavor of its leading hard soda brand. According to Nielsen Data, the ginger ale and orange soda are the two most popular flavors released by MillerCoors in the market. These two flavors, launched in January this year had captured about 8.8 percent share of the market in the category of malt beverage.
MillerCoors surged to the number one slot in the flavored malt beverage segment with the release of Henry’s Hard Soda which occupied about 24% of the market. T MillerCoors’s initial customers Generation X is driving the sales as they grew up drinking soda as an alternative for booze. Preparations are on for the launch of the cherry cola flavor in the month of August.
According to MillerCoors’s director of innovation, the brand Henry’s Hard Soda has surpassed all expectations. The company is positive about its product as well about the market feedback.
