Harley-Davidson has launched a new generation ready to race, flat-track motorcycle popularly known as Harley-Davidson XG750R. This is the first track racing bike by Harley Davidson in forty-four years. The bike will officially run on the tracks for the first time at the AMA Pro Flat Track Springfield Mile in Illinois.

Harley-Davidson’s XG750R will be specifically used for racing competitions and will not be offered for sale at present. It will be initially raced by Davis Fisher, team rider of the factory. The new bike is powered by the 750 cc Revolution X™ V-Twin engine .The engine has been developed by Vance & Hines Motorsports, who are also the partner for the factory Harley-Davidson Screaming Eagle Vance & Hines drag racing program where V-Rod motorcycles have won eight of the past 12 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle drag racing championships.

According to the racing manager at Harley-Davidson, Kris Schoonover, this was the right time to design and launch next generation Harley-Davidson XG750R flat track motorcycle to compete in the upcoming racing sports of the year.
