Google has entered in to an alliance with the Royal Free Hospital in London to manage records of patients. The Royal Free Hospital is using DeepMind , a pioneer in artificial intelligence research owned by Google. This alliance will provide an app based solution for detecting problems related to kidney.

As per the terms of the deal, Google will be able to access the private data of patients and it is a concern which has been raised by many including the BBC. However, as per the deal all the data will be in an encrypted format and will not be handled by Google at all. The main problem behind outsourcing is the protection of important data and the privacy concerns associated with the patients. The most important thing in these kinds of deals is the element of trust between the concerned parties.
